What challenge were you trying to address with Power Digital Marketing? 

We wanted to engage a full-service digital marketing agency that could manage our paid SEO and PR efforts. We wanted to bring our partnerships under one roof versus working with several companies with different responsibilities. Our team is small, and we didn’t have the resources to bring those services in internally, so we partnered with Power to manage our digital marketing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we engaged Power to take over as our SEO and PR agency. Over time, we wanted to develop our online marketing tactics, so we expanded Power’s responsibilities and handed them the keys to our other marketing channels. We provided them with a recap of our social media marketing efforts and outlined details about our target audience. Then, the team thoroughly audited our marketing channels and proposed a new strategy.

Since taking over as our full-service digital marketing agency, they’ve assisted us with content and email marketing, social media strategy, PR, and SEO. Regarding social media, the team has managed our advertising efforts on Facebook and Instagram. They’ve also supported our ad campaigns by creating mailers, themes, and media pitches.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Power has implemented a more successful digital marketing strategy than our original one. They’ve delivered excellent quality work and made the most out of our marketing dollars. Their efforts have facilitated hundreds of media placements and increased our website traffic exponentially. Our email marketing efforts have improved significantly; we’ve reached 5,000 subscribers over a few months and increased our click-through rate. 

We’ve also seen a fantastic return on our paid social media advertising year-over-year (YoY). Not only have we been able to reach more people through social media, but Power has helped us effectively target our audience, which is a much more efficient use of our budget. Our partnerships team has secured 6 co-branded promotions, and we’ve set up more heading into next year. 

How did Power Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Power has been a very thorough, organized partner; they’ve delivered everything on time and within budget. The team has orchestrated a seamless, streamlined communication process. Their cross-team communication and synergy have blown us away; I’ve never seen a team work so well in tandem with one another. 

We’ve met weekly and reached out to our account manager via phone and email in between meetings; they’ve been very open and responsive throughout. When we’ve shared feedback, the Power team has rolled with it and held brainstorming sessions for how best to implement the changes. They’ve not only accepted our ideas, but they’ve also improved upon them.

We’ve been most impressed by Power’s unique perspective on the marketing landscape. Instead of simply executing our asks, they’ve thought outside the box and contributed valuable expertise to the project. We’ve also really appreciated their strong work ethic; they’ve held themselves accountable to KPIs and gone above and beyond to ensure our project’s success.

I have nothing Power could improve on; we’ve worked well together.

If you're looking for one team to take over your digital marketing efforts and serve as a collective unit for all your marketing channels, I’d highly suggest working with Power. Dedicating your marketing budget to Power will be much easier than engaging several partners and dividing their responsibilities.

Power is fantastic at what they do, and they’re very good at implementing strategies. Additionally, they’re knowledgeable and supportive.

Power often gets the numbers in their spreadsheets wrong, so they need to improve their reporting. They frequently publish incorrect reports regarding the revenue data.

Power works with little supervision, but you still need to check the numbers in their reports.

I’m the CMO of Dwellful, a real estate technology company. We help home buyers and sellers across the US find local real estate agents. In my role, I oversee our marketing efforts with the goal of driving inbound leads to help those potential buyers and sellers connect with the real estate agents.

Historically, we had been very focused on PPC and paid channels to drive traffic, so we were looking for someone who could help us with our SEO.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, Power Digital made an SEO audit of our website and set up a basic plan for growing our organic traffic. Then, they took charge of executing that strategic plan to build SEO content and increase our Google rankings.

I worked with 5–6 people from Power Digital, including an account manager who oversaw our daily collaboration, people focused on technical SEO, and people focused on content development and backlinking.

How did you come to work with Power Digital Marketing?

I met Power Digital through a personal reference. I had previously worked with a colleague who managed SEO teams and had worked with various agencies. He put me in contact with some of these agencies, including Power Digital’s co-founder.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Power Digital quickly identified pages within our site that represented an opportunity to increase our organic search positioning. Thanks to their efforts, we went from having hundreds of visitors coming in organically every month to having a few thousands of visitors within six months.

The 5X increase in organic visitors was possible due to Power Digital’s page optimizations, content development, and interlinking strategies, which helped us rank keywords better. Additionally, we were able to increase our domain authority from 9–12, which was a very meaningful improvement considering the short amount of time in which they achieved it.

How did Power Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Power Digital was great at delivering assets on time. Whenever we faced roadblocks on either’s end, they were great at communicating about them and adjusting timelines accordingly.

Power Digital had very good processes in place to develop a tracking system for the tasks they were responsible for; we mostly organized the project using Google Docs and Sheets. We also coordinated with them on content development, using a clear calendar to see which pieces of content were in development, which ones were ready for approval, and which ones were ready to publish.

In addition to that, Power Digital put together some data studio reports to track the main KPIs that we were following during the project. We also communicated via email and had biweekly calls with their team to review updates, progress, and performance.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One aspect of Power Digital that really stood out as I evaluated different agencies was that they took the time to understand our business model well and lay out a specific plan for the real estate industry. They created a very tailored plan, focusing on local searches and specific targeting, which went a long way in securing our relationship.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. They did a great job, and we were very happy with their performance. We didn’t end our collaboration because of them, but because we were going in a different direction, so we ended our partnership on good terms.
