We had gone through a rebrand so we wanted a team that would be able to take our rebranding and design assets and build a beautiful custom themed website that matched our new brand. We additionally wanted to improve the user experience of our site and be very focused on conversion.

SuperCo designed our site in Figma and after a few iterations, they went ahead and created the custom build in Shopify. Then we focused on content and photography (for which they gave a great recommendation) and then we went live.

They were extremely professional and just executed so smoothly on everything. The design portion was nailed right from the beginning which made the rest of the project a breeze.

I'm the CEO and co-founder of the brand Modern RItual.

For what projects/services did your company hire SuperCo, and what were your goals?

We were redoing our entire website following a rebrand from Get Mr. to Modern Ritual. We wanted to take our new brand guidelines and implement them across digital for key products, about us, press pages, and a few specific new landing pages.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We held several rounds of interviews with multiple firms and landed on Superco based on their communication, their prior reviews, and the relationship we'd built over some time.

They first provided a thorough proposal and time estimate. We started with a kickoff meeting, they thoroughly assessed the market, competitors, and our goals for the project. We continued with iterative sprints on the design and brand aesthetic. It was helpful to have a general guideline for where we wanted the site to go and end up, but they were always helpful in providing suggestions on design and aesthetics.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

2-3 but Liz was my primary point of contact the lead designer and project manager for the effort. I had occasional check-ins with the SuperCo lead team management as needed.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We will be able to speak more to this once it goes live, but for now, we are hearing incredibly positive feedback. We went from a very immature site to something that feels incredibly sophisticated.

Primarily used email, zoom meetings and sheets. It was helpful to be comfortable in figma but if we hadn't been that would have been fine too.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to follow through and take abstract ideas and make them into concrete deliverables. They were professional and personable, which is needed in stressful projects.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The biggest area is that they are a growing company, so as they continue to grow, they need to maintain internal communications to ensure everyone is always on the same page.

For what projects/services did your company hire SuperCo, and what were your goals?

Our website was built on a magento platform and with the growth of e-commerce opportunity over lockdown there was exponential growth that the platform was not able to support. As we were growing we decided it was beneficial to move over to Shopify in order to support all desired avenues of the company. We therefore needed a site that was customised to all our individual needs, but also one that was easy to navigate as not everyone in the team had prior digital experience.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for different development agencies and shortlisted 3. The deciding factor was that I had worked with Superco previously on a different project and knew they could deliver on the brief that we set out.

We had an initial kick-off meeting to determine what the scope of work for the project was. From there we moved onto designing and building the wireframes for the site. Once this was done the development begun from Superco. Throughout the project the communication has been great, and the team are very receptive to our suggestion, and not afraid to push back in order to strive for the best site performance. They work very quickly and effectively to deliver the first phase of the project despite some complications and delays from our side. They've advised on tools we should use such as Recharge and various other apps to achieve our goals. We are now cracking on with phase 2 and 3 to come and are excited to continue working together.

We worked with quite a lot of the team and everyone has been very professional and highly skilled. We worked with the operations managers and have also been appointed a project manager to make sure we have a continuous strategy going forward. There have also been 2 or 3 main developers we've had access to depending on the task.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

At this point in time we are unable to offer any measurable outcomes as we have not launched the site yet - however I think they will improve significantly.

We used several excel spreadsheets to map our timeline and tasks. As for communication, we are using slack to ensure agility between the parties. The team is very easy to communicate with and always respond in a timely fashion to our requests.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Unlike many larger agencies, Superco are very agile with their ways of working. As a young team, they are able to recommend great and fun strategies, and the whole process has felt very collaborative. I think the speed at which they work is also fantastic and despite some hiccups along the way they have been nothing but professional and have a very hand on approach - a joy to work with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think the only note I have was to improve the initial kick off and involve all parties from the get go to make sure we're all aligned. This is at no fault of the agencies but as our project has a lot of moving parts, it was easy to get lost in the detail rather than looking at the bigger picture which is to ensure a smooth consumer journey.

Saint Rocco's Treats freshly bakes and locally makes, human-grade, meat-based, dog treats. I, alongside my brother, am Co-Founder of the brand and small business.

For what projects/services did your company hire SuperCo, and what were your goals?

We needed a revamp of our website. We originally built our site on Wix to just get started but we quickly learned that our Wix site would not scale with our growth ambitions. Our goal was to maintain our simple design and easy-to-use layout but create a website that had the backend capabilities we needed as we continue to grow and the front-end design that would properly convey our brand.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected SuperCo through the Shopify Experts network. I'd say the primary deciding factor was the reviews on their site and an industry peers' website that was very well done. In addition, Tom and Pablo were great to communicate with from the start.

We had several kick-off meetings to ensure they understood what we expected from the site. Then, the SuperCo team designed an outline of the site and was very open and flexible as I provided feedback on the mocks provided. From there, they implemented the design into a Shopify theme, added our integrations, and the rest is history.

I worked with Tom, Pablo, and Emil primarily. I may have worked with others but cannot remember off top of my head. Tom was overseeing the project while Pablo was very hands-on and my go-to guy from start to finish. Emil came in a few times when Pablo was away or if it was a function/task that he was more well versed in.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have received rave reviews from our following about our site. They believe it is a huge improvement and it more accurately reflects the professionalism of our treats and brand.

They communicated often from start to finish. They used 3rd party platforms which made it easy for me to review and adjust their work to meet my specificiations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The speed at which they delivered their quality work was impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish the budget would have been more accurate. This may have partly been due to me but as the professionals in this space, It would have been good to know of the many setbacks we may face. This was VERY minor in the grand scheme, I am super pleased.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We're delighted with the quality of the first website, which is why we used them for the second one, and the feedback on both sites is great. We have potential plans to do a third platform with them because they work quickly and diligently. They also make changes for us whenever we ask them to.

How did SuperCo perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management has been extremely good; they outline the plans and the point person and are very responsive. Their team also delivers on time and budget. We communicate via email, phone calls, Microsoft Teams, and WhatsApp — they always have open lines of communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They give a personal touch to everything they do and always try to find a solution.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on — I’m content with what they’ve delivered.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The key is having a clear idea of what you want from a website; once you’ve explained that to them, they’ll be able to make a good website pretty quickly for you.
