I’m the founder of Dino’s Digital Marketing & Advisory Firm based in NYC. I service large corporations and run affiliate marketing websites.

One of my clients needed the run influencer marketing campaigns for a new product release so I hired The Influencer Marketing Factory because I know they have the best reputation in the industry and they have been crushing the Tik Tok marketing arena. We wanted to reach a younger demo and build the brand awareness and new product awareness.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I worked with two other agency and one public company that used The Influencer Marketing factory so they came highly recommended.

First we set up a call with the brand and Influencer Marketing Factory so they could understand the scope, then the IFM went to the drawing board and presented 3 different go to market strategies along with beautiful creatives and what kind of influencers they thought we should tap. We collectively took their original ideas and made minor tweeks. The IMF used a combination of tools like figma, Canva, ahrefs, pitch deck, and several others to get the job done. The brand was thoroughly impressed by the creative and professionalism. It didn’t take much back and forth for us to launch.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had 3-5 people from the influencer marketing factory work with us on the project. Positions included a creative, two account managers, copy writer, and two influencers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We received over 75 million impressions, grew out email list by 15K and had nearly 200K new visitors to our site. My client and I were very happy with the overall success and work delivered by the Influencer Marketing Factory.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The work flow was excellent. The Influencer Marketing Factory took the lead and integrated extremely well into my clients stack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed by their systems and ability to drive results. They were clearly sophisticated operators and I’d definitely use them again.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We did not have enough budget to put forward but I would have loved to execute on some more of their ideas to see what could’ve gotten the best results.

We signed a $50,000 influencer marketing contract with The Influencer Marketing Factory. They were supposed to research and recruit female influencers that represent our modest wear brand values.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We researched several companies online, including clutch. We interviewed 7 companies and The Influencer Marketing Factory verbally assured us that they would deliver on our project targets. They assured us that they had the experience necessary to recruit the influencers in our niche sector. We hired them due to their reassurances.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

They emailed and called us several times before we made a decision on an influencer marketing agency. We appreciated their persistence. After we signed the agreement and wired them them 60% of the contract ($30,000USD), they did on-boarding with us. They claim that they were sending out invitations to influencers to join our campaign. They failed to meet the targets and would have follow-up discussions with us assuring us the struggles were temporary. On August 18th we had a meeting with several members from their team and requested solutions from them. Their VP, Nicla Bartoli informed us she would follow-up within 48 hours to advise on next steps to rectify the failure of her agency to deliver on targets. They have failed to follow-up, and have not responded back to our attempts at communication.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This campaign was a complete failure. The Influencer Marketing Factory fell well below the targets that they set out in the agreement we signed for them. They were not able to deliver meaningful influencers for our campaign, and did not meet the total follower thresholds that they contractually agreed to deliver. We also organically received feedback from influencers that proactively reached out to us, informing us that The Influencer Marketing Factory was unprofessional in communication. They have ghosted us.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have been waiting for them, since August 20, 2022, to get back to us with a proposal to rectify the failures of their agency on our campaign. Despite our attempt to communicate with them, they have went silent and disregarded our attempt to communicate.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed by their sales pitch and case studies.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They should be more transparent on their capabilities as an agency. They led us to believe they had the experience necessary to take our campaign on. They should also be more respectful with responding back to client emails.
